it's almost the end of the year. time to start a new blog. over this layout.
I'm so excited to go back home for christmas! I miss the east coast :(. Can't wait to show rudy around DC, he's gonna love it. I can already picture him snapping a gazillion photos. I have so many thoughts flying around in my head I have no idea what to really talk about right now.
All I'm thinking about right now is what I want my winter look is gonna be. I'm thinking lots of black with hints of plaid.. big bows and wool.. some platform stiletto boots.. i may have to work my way up to the heels.. ugh been so long. Preppy 90's goth? Does that make sense? I'm gonna grow my layers out, so sick of my hair but I don't know what to do with it. Everyone's telling me I'd be crazy to color it but I'm reaaaallly desiring a dark dark brown..

starting to like living a little more
now that i'm not frying every time i step outside! the weather is wonderful this time of year here in texas. now that my back is pretty much recovered i can start riding my bike again and going to things like this ! (left column son). i've decided to boycott caps. caps annoy me anyway, such a waste of pinky energy. gonna go ride around ! til next time enjoy these - my f a v o r i t e kiddie show intros. i will never get sick of watching them.

So last night was some B A L L S, but are we really surprised? no.
To make matters worse I dropped my camera on the bus and it was fucked up for the rest of the night (and maybe indefinitely, or until i get it fixed). So I couldn't take any pictures of the madness. Here are pictures pre and post drop. I'm not going to get into the night, it was bad. Let's leave it there.

I feel like I haven't posted in months, but it's only been like a week or so. geeeksquaaad. Anyways so my favorite time of the year is here but it's not so much my favorite this year because last year was such a flop. I'm so not excited for Halloween right now, it's sad. Maybe it's me getting older? Or just not entirely excited about my surroundings? Whatevs. One thing we did do last week that I did enjoy was carve pumpkins! It had been yeeeeears!! We went over to jake's place and went to work, they carved a puppy - and me.. a kitty of course :).
haha it took so long. damn thick ass pumpkins, i was strugglin.
So a couple people are coming in from out of town so we might have to end up going out so i tried to think of an easy, quick costume.. came up with Daria. Then today looked everywhere and couldn't find shit. All the blazers I found were so huge and I couldn't find a stupid black pleated skirt for the life of me (you'd think that'd be the easiest thing!) so I found a cute black vintage romper and said fuck it, i'm gonna be the bear (MY kitty). I've done the black cat costume time and time again but i really don't give a shit. Just not excited about any of the parties so it doesn't matter.
I AM SO BUMMED i missed THIS last weekend.. damn hangover. Why would you try to break a world record on a saturday morning.

Last night was so amazing, no words can describe the feeling of seeing them live. WOW. I was a little bummed that i could hardly move (thanks stupid back) because my neck/upper back is still a little jacked. BUT nonetheless it was still stuuupid awesome. Rivers was just as kooky as I thought he'd be in concert. They opened with 'My name is Jonas' KILLER. I melted -LITERALLY- when they did a cover of Pink Floyd's 'Time'. I didn't record it i was too busy being mesmerized. Tokyo Police Club was awesome too.. the only downfall of the night was angels and airwaves. BLECHBLECHBLEEChhhhh. They are so horrible I can't believe people listen to them. Oh and another downfall was when Rivers brought Tom DeLonge on stage to sing the sweater song with him, WHY!!?! Sooo.. last night before i went to bed I turned to say goodnight to rudy and felt an intense pain in my back.. i shrugged it off and tried to get comfy and then all of a sudden sharp pains darted through my entire back into my neck too, so I got up and freaked out.. walked around for a bit as the pain got worse and worse I just dropped to the ground feeling semi paralyzed. So scary, nothing like that has ever happened to me before ! I start crying and rudy comes to try to comfort me. God it was horrible, i couldn't turn my head or get up without assistance. I finally got into a somewhat comfortable position in bed but the pain was still so intense even after taking 4 ibus. I hardly slept through the night so this morning rudy took me to a clinic. The doctor that saw me said I definitely pulled or pinched something and he popped my back and my neck. That helped a little but the pain in the middle of my back was still killer so he prescribed me some vicodin & muscle relaxers.
Feeling pretty dizzy/high/nice from the vic but still hurts. He said it could take up to 2 weeks to go away. It was just so crazy though because I was fine all day! UGH, such a pain in my ass. I can't believe how excrutiating it all was/is. Thank god I have the world's greatest boyfriend to take care of me.
